	These lustrous sterling silver earrings are ultra-chic and at the fashion forefront. The Venetian Murrina originates from ancient Roman, Alexandrian and Phoenician glassware. Small segments of differently shaped and colored glass rods are laid close together and then fused into tiny mosaics, granting its name Millefiori, which means "a thousand flowers". It owes it's particular beauty to a very complicated and skillful process with was rediscovered by the glass makers or Murano in the Middle Ages.
